The new mobile BigSynk® from TEAL can be conveniently located in hospital wards and corridors in the exact position it is needed.
With hand washing before and after patient contact one of the Department of Health’s main criteria for reducing hospital care acquired infections (HCAIs), the BigSynk® provides an instant ablution solution which can be positioned at the point of maximum impact and convenience – to encourage staff and visitors to use it.
Several UK medical establishments have already purchased the BigSynk® to enable people to wash their hands before and after entering wards - at the Royal Free Hospital in London five units have been located in the Accident & Emergency Department for this purpose.
Trolley based and completely mobile, the self-contained unit needs no plumbing or drainage connections and once plugged in provides up to 150 ten second hot washes.
It is perfect for providing bed-ridden patients with washing facilities or for nursing staff to use when giving bed baths.
