The new mobile BigSynk® from TEAL can be conveniently located in hospital wards and corridors in the exact position it is needed.
Hand washing before and after patient contact is one of the Department of Health’s main criteria for reducing hospital care acquired infections (HCAIs).
The BigSynk® provides an instant ablution solution which can be positioned at the point of maximum impact and convenience to encourage staff and visitors to use it.
Several UK medical establishments are already using the BigSynk® so visitors and staff wash their hands before and after entering wards. At the Royal Free Hospital in London, five units have been located in the Accident & Emergency Department for this purpose.
Trolley-based and completely mobile, the self-contained BigSynk® unit needs no plumbing or drainage connections. Once plugged in, it provides up to 150, ten-second, hot water washes.
It is perfect for providing bed-bound patients with washing facilities and for nursing staff to use when giving bed baths.
